The Selling Process

If you're a first-time home seller or someone that has been through the process before, selling your home can feel like a difficult challenge. My job is to guide you through the selling process by providing you with a free in-home consultation of your property, comparative analysis of other properties and a no-pressure experience. My job is to be there every step of the way helping make the sales process move as smoothly as possible. See below for more on the selling process!

Know why you're selling

Are you selling your home because you're moving, or want to take advantage of  today's market? Both require different approaches and strategies. As your agent, I will help you analyze the market and better understand the range of outcomes you can expect.

Prep your home for listing

Getting your home ready may be the most demanding step in the process and will decide in most cases how much your home will sell for. Handling this step poorly may lose potential buyers. As your agent, I will advise you on the best way to prep your home before listing it.

Market your home

Great pictures is what makes a home stand out, it's always advised to take professional pictures of your home, and if necessary, stage it.

I offer my clients a free Matterport scan of their home to provide a 3D virtual tour. The more online exposure your home gets, the more potential buyers you reach!

Offers

It's important to remember that one offer doesn't necessarily mean future offers are going to be higher or lower. Every buyer is different. 

Contract

Once you've accepted an offer, the process of sending out the contract and negotiating the finer points of the sale begin! Details get ironed out until both parties have completely agreed. 

Closing

With the contracts signed, closing is the final step in the selling process. After transferring legal ownership of your home to the buyer, you will receive your funds from escrow.
